Danaé the Mermaid offers introductory mermaid swimming sessions for young people aged 6 to 12, in outdoor pools. A fun, artistic and physical activity that captivates children whatever their level of enjoyment of swimming.

How does a class work?
Welcome and preparation
Children discover their mermaid fin and get familiar with the equipment. Danaé explains the basic movements and safety instructions.
Water initiation
Let the magic begin! The apprentice mermaids and tritons put on their fins and learn to undulate in the water like real sea creatures.
Games and aquatic figures
Group games and choreographed figures allow children to progress while having fun. Everyone moves at their own pace.

Artist and co-founder of Brasil Sunshine, Danaé is passionate about the aquatic world and the mermaid universe. Trained in animation and swimming, she guides each child with care and creativity to transform every class into a magical moment.

Does my child need to know how to swim?
Children should be comfortable in the water and able to put their head underwater. Perfect swimming skills are not required, but a basic level of water confidence is recommended.
Is equipment provided?
Yes! Mermaid fins (monofins) are provided for the duration of the class. Children just need to bring their swimsuit.
